I don't know any in those areas, but I go to Maria Bonita on Prince St. in the city. I use Regina and she is awesome!!! it's about $50 but so worth it. They have a website online too if you want to check them out. Good Luck!

I used to use the J Sisters in the city on W57th between 7th and 8th and they're very good but it's $78 with tax.

I was recommended to Arpi's Salon and Spa in Flushing/Fresh Meadows. One of my good girlfriends goes there (she used to go to J Sisters too) and she highly recommends this place. The best part? A Bazilian Wax is $35!! My appointment is in a couple weeks!

I absolutely love Uni-k-wax which just opened in Murray Hill about a year ago. It's on 36th and 3rd, and BBWs are about $24. It's not in the area you mentioned, but is super cheap and most importantly super clean, so worth the trip IMO.

Don't know about Middle Village but a lot of girls swear by Bliss Spa, either Soho or Times Square location.

I checked out Bliss and it's $75 for the Brazilian Wax. Same as J Sisters.

I will only go to Bliss. They are $70 I think and worth every penny!! They use new wax on each client, and if you want will use the European/South American wax that hardens and you pull just the wax, no strips. For Brazilian that gets the best results for me. When I get waxed when I go back to Argentina, they use that wax and it is the best. I never get those results in the States no matter where I go lol. But anyway, hardly ANY places in NY use fresh wax, and that is vital. Wax left in warmers is the ideal breeding ground for bacteria and other pathogens, and I insist on fresh wax, so I pay $70, and go into Manhattan from Roslyn once a month for it. I haven't found anyone on LI that uses that wax and changes it per client.
