Repost - Wedding Dress Size

I've lost about 15 lbs since they measured me when I ordered my dress. Do you think this will be a problem?? I'm worried my dress might be too big - I know they alter but is this something I shoud be concerned about??

no i think youll be fine, they can alter many sizes down (if theyre good lol)

you should be ok. Dresses can usually be altered at least 2 sizes w/o screwing wit the dress. if anything just go to a really good seamstress!

i am worried about this too....i already ordered the dress a size bigger because of my ta-tas.....plus i have lost 11 lbs and plan to lose more...the dress is going to be huge and im afraid that it will ruin the look of the dress when they alter it....the store assured me it would be fine but i am still nervous!

At bridal reflections they said they can do tucks on the side no problem. By the way..yay girls on losing all this weight. That's so great

you should be fine! as long as the seamstress is good, they can alter it no problem!

i say lose as much as you want....i plan to keep going even though i know my dress will be big.....i know i wont be happy until i lose another 15 lbs so i am not gonna stop just bc of the dress....things will work out in the end.
