REPOST - What are you and FH similarities? Differences?

Inspired by my Rabbi, who when asked, we just didn't really know what to answer. We have to think about it.

What are your Differences?

Similarities?

We love spending our time together and especially with our new puppy.
He loves his race car, SHHHH....I can't stand how loud it is but love to see how happy he is when he's driving it and working on it. We are pretty compatible for the most part

We love movies, family, have a lot of the same tastes as far as decorating and such, we are both artistic and appreciate a good time together.

Differences: I am loud and he is quiet, I like to get dressed up sometimes and go someplace fancy, he is really a jeans and t-shirt kind of man (which, don't get me wrong, is something I love about him)


#1 difference: I am a cat person and he is a dog person.

Good question!

Similarities: both into sports, especially cycling, we both went to Big Ten Schools so we have a lot of friends who are out of town, we both love movies and eating in restaurants, we both like hard work and value family and friends, we love animals and the outdoors

Differences: I'm cautious, he's daring, He likes muted colors, I like them bright and cheery, political differences (our votes cancel each other out)...religions (he's catholic, I'm presbyterian but it's a similiarty because we're both Christian)

He's a dog person and I'm a cat person...but I think in his own way, he's starting to warm up to kitty (he's like the elementary school kid who only picks on the girls he likes....

Similarities:

We're both cat people - which is good cause when we moved in together I brought 2 cats with me.

We're both very into health and fitness - running, biking, meditation, etc.

We both enjoy cooking - despite my avatar, I love to cook, just dont have much time for it.

We both are very close to our families.
We both love travel and wish we could do more of it.

Differences:

I'm in education and teach theatre/dramatic literature. He's a financial planner - so one of us is right brained and the other is left brained.

I stress about big things - finances, jobs, etc. He doesn't stress at all about them. He stresses about little things - directions, etc. I dont sweat the small stuff.

He likes extreme sports, I'm more of a safety first type person.

I'm emotional - I cry at commercials and wear my heart on my sleeve.much of the time. He is kind of stoic - can appear aloof at first, but he's a sweetie.

Some similarities and some differences:

We are both dog people.

We have similar family backrounds.

We both love the beach.

I love the city, he prefers Long Island.

He loves sports, I don't.

Neither of us is really into music (but I am a little bit more).

We both love having a big group of friends.

I need a lot of sleep, he hardly needs any.

differences: he watches TV and I read, he is laid back and I am not, he lets things roll of his back and I don't; i love music, he doesn't

similarities: we both like quiet evenings at home, going to movies, we both save money

we both love animals but I am a bird person and he likes critters (rabbits, gerbils, hamsters)

I am a control freak and can be very high-strung...FH is very calm...no matter how upset and riled up I am about something, he can soothe me and make me laugh.

I love to read, FH hates it. I LOVE shopping and clothes, FH could care less what he wears and HATES going to the mall more than anything.

We both love to eat out, watch movies and just do nothing together.

He is always late. I am always on time.

He likes football. I think it is stupid.

We both LOVE Taco Bell. (ok so we arent refined)

Many people have asked me that question.

Similarities:
-we went to the same engineering school, same major, we hung out with the same crowd, disliked the same teachers, etc.
-we have similar taste in music and movies, books and food
-we both love the outdoors, spending time with our families.

Differences:
-I'm a talker, he's more of a shy listener
-I'm not much of a spender (he has his 'impulse buy of the month')
-I let my emotions rule my decisions, whereas he's more logical (he always makes sense)

I'm sure there are other things, but I can't think of them right now...
