So now that my wedding is getting closer im worried about Aunt Flo paying a visit on either my wedding day or honeymoon!
well.....the way it works out to avoid getting my period on BOTH occasions, I will have to skip my period two months in a row. Ive skipped one before, but never 2.
Do you ladies think its safe to skip my period 2months in a row??

I would definitely ask your doctor. I plan on skipping mine for both my wedding and HM, but that would only be one month. Two months might be a bit much, but IDK. Your doctor would def know best!

I'm on yaz and my dr said that I COULD do it if I needed to, but it wasnt really ideal. Idk if it matters what bc youre on or what your health is like though. I would deff ask your dr.

Only your doctor knows what is good for you and some will tell you to keep taking it and skip a month. I am on the Seasonale and I LOVE it.... get it only once every 3 months and my doctor says that I can even skip that if needed because when your on the pill the hormones that are released make it safe to not get your period.

I skip it all the time for like 3-4 mos in a row. it still comes like clockwork when i want it to. my dr said its fine to do that. its the exact same thing as taking seasonale, except seasonale is just marketed in 3 months packs.

my dr says it's safe. i skip every two months. if i try for a 3rd...i end up getting it anyway...and for much longer

do it way before if you have time...if you skip one month then wait a month and then skip the next month you should be ok

I am on Seasonique ( almost the same as Seasonale) and I LOVE IT too. You don't have to worry about Aunt Flo every month anymore.

I think it would definitely screw up your cycle but I dont think there are any health complications to worry about. Being on the pill gives you a 'fake' period anyway since your body thinks its pregnant so I dont see what could be so dangerous about it. After all they have a pill out there that allows you to only get your period 4 times a year. SO its pretty much the same thing.
