Repost...Need Advice...When should we...

Do a cake tasting? I am unsure if I want to use the bakery that my RH uses, as I have heard many mixed things. Should I do a tasting soon for that bakery and if FH and I don't like it, go somewhere else?

You only need 6 weeks prior to the wedding to order your cake. Personally we are going to order a few different 7 inch round cakes around the holidays from the bakery that we have included with our RH in the flavors that we are considering and share them with family. I think that will make more sense since our bakery charges for cake tastings
