There was a kitty in our yard for some time that I was feeding. We trapped her and got her spayed - she was pregnant which we terminated. She's been living in our bathroom for about 2 weeks now. She lets us pet her from time to time, but we have to move up to her slowly. The bathrooms in the basement and she likes to stay on the window ledge which is kind of high up - doesn't make interacting easy. Her name is Amica and she is a domestic short hair tabby mix. Her underside and paws are white and her back and face are tabby. Anyone know when a good time for her to meet our 3 other kitties and come out of the bathroom would be? I feel so bad keeping her locked up in there by herself. We also still have male's coming to visit her by the window at night, I'm afraid they may spray the window (P.U.).

Re: Rescued a feral
We have rescued a lot of cats. I would be careful about letting her have free reign of the house. She might not come out from a hiding spot. I would do it more slowly.

I'm sorry I can't advise you, but I think it's great what you have done. I hope it all works out for you and your kitties

Re: Rescued a feral
My cousin has 2 feral cats that she has never been able to tame inside. They live outside all year round. She has an outdoor cat house that they live in and its good for cold weather. I am not sure what its called. They are very friendly outside but hate being indoors.
