Reserving Hotel Blocks

Reserving Hotel Blocks

Hi I wanted to know if any of you married ladies did not reserve hotel blocks for your wedding. Did you regret it? I don't have too many OOT family and friends, so my FW and I really don't see a need to do so. We figured anyone coming from out of town will most likely stay with other family members. But in the case of a handful of people, I didn't know if it really made a difference. Figured we could just list neighboring hotels on our wedding website.

It's a bit more money but we're staying there and we have a lot of friends that are staying even if they're local just so they don't have to worry about drinking and driving. But if you decide to do it, you have to look into shuttles as well. It is nice to have as an option for people that want to drink heavily. Plus the party can continue afterwards at the hotel :)

I did not, but really didn't need to, it sounds like you guys may not either, one less thing to worry about :)

Yea, my Matron OH's wedding had a shuttle and I got a room. It was nice to have the option since I attended alone and had some drinks. However I don't know if we can spend money on a shuttle for a hand full of folks, but I'll defenitely get some quotes...thanks ladies :0)

It really depends on the place. We got married at the Fox Hollow and the Inn at Fox Hollow books up like mad so there were no available rooms left outside of my block!
