residual from yesterday's rant

my dad has a 'talk' with me last night about stuff that was so irrelevant, i completely forgot. I have a different attitude about things. I've done everything to help myf amily. I've been there for them for everything. I can't go into exact details at the moment because my book will be hitting shelves in the near future and i have to make a profit, jeez! lol

anyway, lets just say ive busted my back for my family and i am the most under appreciated person there.

I'm so done for being blamed for everyone's incompetence. I'm so done with being everyone;s doormat.

I'm going to enjoy my wedding and let everyone figure life out on their own. that doesnt make me a bad person because NO ONE held my hand. I raised myself and learned all about life alone.

I will still be their daughter and if they need me for big things, of course i will be there but i will not be coerced into feeling guilty for something that's not my responsibility.

AND im truly going to plan my own bridal shower because it will be the only way these bridesmaids will step up to the plate.

In the end im just happy im marrying my best friend the only person that truly cares it seems. Thanks for putting things into perspective ladies!

There you go - there's the attitude!!! I know it's not hard dealing w/ that from your family, but you have to think about yourself and your well being and the new life you're starting out soon.

just look forward and always keep your head up! you can accomplish anything you want to in life!
