Apparently i have super human powers that turns white gold rings back to yellow within a year and a half.
I need to get my ring re-dipped and sized down about 1.5 sizes.
Does anyone have a really good jeweler or place to recommend close to Mineola or Floral Park ?
How long should this take? (feeling a little separation anxiety from my jewels!)
tia ladies!!

Go to Genarros in Bellmore, I know it isnt the town you were looking for but that is our family jeweler and I trust NO ONE else! Dipping does take off a layer of gold and does make it thinner-but unless you have it dipped regularly I wouldnt sweat it too much. Ive had my ring 3 years and its been dipped 2 times and its fine.

Re: Resizing and redipping
its a body chemistry thing... some people have a more neutral ph and others more acidic... the more acidic your natural ph, the more likely you are to wear through the rhodium plating of white gold....

Dipping takes about 10-15 minutes, and the sizing it depends. At Genarro you watch everything that they do to your ring, it NEVER leaves your sight! But get there early if you go on saturday b/c they are crazy-they are open 9-6 mon-saturday-they are on bedford avenue in Bellmore.

Thank you SOOO much for recommending this jeweler. They were absolutely fantastic and my ring looks like the day it did I put it on my finger. I could not recommend Genarro Jewelers enough, thanks again!
