Resizing E-ring

Resizing E-ring

I desperately need to get my ring resized. In the cold weather, it gets even loser and rotates all the way around. I haven't looked into it yet, but can anyone tell me how much this generally costs? Is there any place you recommend?

Can you take it back to the jeweler where FH bought it? I did, and they did it for free.

I don't think so. He bought it on overstock.

I am having the same problem. With this cold weather it is really big on me, but im scared to resize it now because then in the summer it might be too tight then. I was thinking about getting one of those cheap removable ones for now and then resize it when the weather gets warmer.

My jeweler just put the balls on the ring for me rather than resizing and I can remove them for the summer. If you have any jeweler in the area that can do that, I recommend it. It helps a lot!

I had mine resized at the jeweler where FH purchased the ring and they resized it for free

I had mine resized and cleaned at a jeweler in the mall, Fast Fix Jewelry, and it was $50. They did all the work in front of me and it was done in 20 minutes. I've gone back to them for everything from tightening to stone to sizing my wedding band, also.

I think I paid about $140 to have it resized, They also did it in front of me ( don't leave it) They cleaned it as well and my grandmother ring that I had on. You can see if the place fh bought will do it for free or cheaper.

rdubs,

What are these balls that you are talking about?

the balls are small pieces of gold they place into the bottom of the band.

this is what I have- I sat right next to the guy the entire time he did it. I didnt want them to fully resize it, i was afraid that if my fingers got bigger it would be a bigger process to open it up again.

the balls are removed easily-at least thats what the jeweler said.

It was 45 dollars and I had it done at Buntys in Commack- fabulous people to deal with- didnt get my ring from them tho.

Can you take it back to the place where you got it? Sometimes they do it for free.
