ran into a little problem with my invites.. the proof came back and the font looked horrible so have to send for a proof again.. my wedding in august 5th and the invites prob wont get sent out until June 1st so arriving to guests on lets say June 4th.. is setting a July 3rd date to respond too early?? or does July 5th look better or does it not matter??

Either date is still plenty of time..... I'm sending my invites out on Thursday (small fiasco, I'm not getting the outter envelopes until tomorrow), with an RSVP of June 22nd.....which is 3 weeks before the wedding.

Either one is fine. I sent mine out on Friday (May 11) and my RSVP date is June 15. People will be late regardless I figure. Unfortunately it is part of life.

I agree....our RSVP date is also exactly one month before the wedding.

First of all... you have an awesome wedding date - it's my birthday.
Second of all, I think you are fine with the response date one month before the wedding. That's what we did. Only we sent our invites out a little earlier being that our wedding is on Memorial Day weekend.

did you send out STDs? If so, people should know by now if they are coming or not.
I gave people 3 weeks to RSVP and almost everyone got theirs back on time. And my RSVP date was 20 days before the wedding. I cut it close but there was no reason to panic like I did. It worked out fine
