Response Card: Both Names?

Response Card: Both Names?

For those ladies who are hosting their own wedding and who currently live with their FH's, are you putting both of your names on the Response Cards return envelopes?

Everyone knows we are 'shacking' as the old folks say, but to be respectful, I think I am using only my name. Also we live on a numbered street and I am going to spell out the numbers ie:

Ms. Jane Marie Doe
1313 One Hundred and Fifth Avenue
New York, New York 11111

thoughts?

Hmm.. this is interesting..I hadnt thought about it. Im in the same situation but I think i will just put my name because its a private house and my parents live on the first floor..

i am putting both our names on it. we live together, its not a secret but i understand about being respectful. we've been living together for almost 2 years. i think if its a newer situation to only put one name, but everyone who is invited know that we live together ya know? its also totally personal preference.

I did exactly the same thing. I think it is perfect!

I put both our names on it...even though FH doesn't really live with me. HA.

We put both names on it. Everyone knows we live together, even the people that might not be that happy about it. Do whatever works for you. Good luck

That’s funny I just had this issue a few weeks ago!!!
At first I just put my name on it (after consulting with FH who, to his defense, was watching TV and as he says did not care about anything but the high speed chase on cops) but after the invites arrived FH got really upset, all the ppl I showed them to asked Y is it only my name if we live together, and even I didn't feel quite right seeing them printed. We r living together and FH is taking a very active role in planning the wedding....
Had to reprint them, forked over another $30 but I feel that they look a lot better this way

see FH can care less, he puts his 2 cents in here and there but for he most part I am doing the planning. I just dont want people to see this as a bridezilla move or something ....
