I numbered each card to correspond with the guests on my spreadsheet. I'm glad I did because today I got a card saying 'can't wait to see you' and they forgot to fill in their names!

I told my FW about this and she looked at me like 'Great, another thing she learned from Liweddings' and kind of brushed it off, but I told her...it happens!! I will definitely be doing this.

i did this as well. I only needed it once (although i'm sure i would have figured it out eventually lol) But i'm sure if I DIDN'T do it, I would have gotten 10 w/no names LOL

I did this on the back of the response cards and it was worth it even if you invited a father and son from the same family like Mr. &Mrs. Soandso this way you know who is who. We did it on the back but I would suggest putting in the envelope flap less noticeable. Someone wrote on our card back we did the same thing for our wedding lol. I bought invisible ink pens but of course when I did the cards I forgot about them

I did this with an invisible ink pen so it wouldn't be seen. It was definitely handy.

I just numbered mine yesterday! I put a small number on the back semi-hidden in a design. If you look for it you can see it, but I don't think it compromises the look of the RSVP. And each number corresponds to my spread sheet so keeping track should be easy! Yay LIWedding tips! lol

I just wrote it very tiny on the back corner of the RSVP card. I highly doubt many people noticed.

LOL I'm sure you're right. I was very OCD about that. I was worried that someone would see '300' for example and think that's where they ranked! For those that asked in my DM, I got them via amazon. The cap on each one acted like the black light to see the numbers. They were very cheap.

This is totally true- we had so many! also we have friends now going through it and posting on facebook 'whoever didnt write their name... came from middle island' - almost ALL ours passed through middle island even the nassau county ones!
yes i did get a few 'why am i # 102?' etc --- our invisible ink pen ended up not working the day we had a huge group of friends helping out....
@Star625 yes i got that eyeroll a million times as well :)

I put my numbers on the back in pencil so it would be less noticeable. The funny thing is the couple wrote 'Mr and Mrs' and then left the rest blank
