i'm sure this has been discussed over and over again but i'm too tired to do a search right now- how long before your wedding date did you put for a response date? thanks
edited to say- just did a response. i was going to do a rsvp date of oct 10th for nov 15th wedding but now i'm considering making it earlier than the 10th.

All I can say is to do it as early as possible. I'm getting married in 27 days, response date was 5 weeks prior to the wedding date, and I still have 6 couples not responded. It holds up table seatings, centerpieces needed, etc. People are rude.

Mine is August 5th for August 31st... I think a lot of people have not responded because it is a holiday weekend... waiting to see if they have other plans or not

I think it depends when your reception hall needs the final count. Mine did not ask for it until three days before the wedding, so my response was three weeks before.

My wedding is Oct 10, the response date is about a month prior.
