Response disappointment so far...

I just started receiving my response cards, and out of the 6 I've received, all of them were no! I pretty much knew they wouldn't come, but it was the situation where I had to send them. I expected the no's, but I was hoping for my first one to be a yes!!! With our luck, nobody will come.

Stop saying that...if you expected the no's...than thats ok!...they were probably just quick to send them...it'll get better...don't worry! Chin up!

Well at least they let you know so soon. Is there anyone else you want to add but couldn't? Don't worry. It will get better.

I know that is lousy to receive the 'no's' first, but you will be sooooo excited when you receive the 'yes' responses. When I opened my first yes, I danced around my front yard. And I also made up a song about responses to my FH.
Please dont worry you will definitely get plenty of yes responses soon.

you will get more yes responses before you know it, and probably more than you expected to. smile! this is your wedding invites!!!!!!!

I am sure the 'no' people were trying to be nice and get you their info right away in case you had a 'B' list to invite. Don't worry you will get tons of 'yes'

ususally you get your definite nos right away...I think I got one or two int he first few days...

then you get all yeses for a long time, and you will start to think...OMG how am I going to afford this...and in the end it works out... :)

Melissa, you will start getting yes'. Consider yourself lucky that you got the no's right away. Mine didn't come until the very last minute and I had no B list so I was way under my minimum. Just a piece of advice from my experience, have a B list prepared and send it out in enough time. I didn't

Alll ours were not yes and they were not a disappointment at all, b/c in a sense those were the ones you felt obligated to send an invite, if only you did not have to waste your stamp and an invite on them. But chin up sweetie, all will be well, all your YES's will be rolling in before you know it. Some of our no guest were rude enough to send their no responses way after our response deadline. At least you have enough time to send out invites to additional people before your RSVP deadline.
