At the beginning I received response in dozens, but now, with a week till my response deadline I still have about 50 people that didn't RSVP. And I am only at 113 when I guaranteed 150. We invited 225! I'm panicking now b/c I don't think I'm going to make my limit, and that it with B list invites sent out already! Help!

From experiences on here, it's to be expected. Just get ready to make the phone calls! I'm sure you'll make the limit!

I would start making phone calls. Or, if you have any work friends you were unable to invite, then invite them. I would also ask the venue if you can trade the number of guests for an upgrade...since you are going to have to pay for 150... Good Luck!

I am in the same situation! I was just about to post this very same topic!
We invited 140, and we only have about 90-something confirmed at this point (including us and our vendors!!)... my minimum is 110...my response date is THIS THURSDAY... I am freaking out!

I sent mine out as soon as I atarted receiving a bunch of no's. I want to make sure I have 150 and I dont mind having more than that. If you dont want to go too far over yor minimum then you might want to wait until you receive the majority of responses.

Start calling now. Most people forget and it will take them a week just to get it in the mail. I swear people are oblivious! Don't feel bad I received a response 1 day before my wedding. The people decided to come and I decided not to care and let the Maitre'D handle it. They came up to me at the wedding and I told them 'Well you never responded, I didn't know you were coming!'

I (swear to God this is true) got a couple of my responses AFTER the wedding (a few days after). And the people came to the wedding! The maitre d' and DH's parents (it was people from their side of the family) took care of it and I didn't even know until a few days later. I had to make a lot of phone calls, which is annoying. And a few of my friends decided at the last minute to bring dates, so be prepared. Unless people have gotten married recently, they really don't know how much stress their inconsideration can cause the bride...

I suggest start calling now. Some nit wits think just b/c they are family you should 'know' they are coming!! People just don't know better!!! For the eparty I had FH's mom and my mom call family and family friends. I called my friends.

Dont feel bad, my response date is Monday and I have only gotten about half of my responses back. I swear, people are so slow. I invited 186, and have 104 back, with 77 yes. I guarenteed 150. But I know more are coming- believe it or not, some of our bridal party have not even responded yet.
I invited my work people today, since I am figuring I have room for them now as we have had some nos come in. Do you believe two of them had the nerve to ask if they were 'B' list??? UGH, so tacky. I was thinking, now THIS is WHY you are on the 'B' list you tacky ****
