Response time

If I have my response date 6 weeks before our wedding date, is that too soon? I was going to mail out invites earlier than usual anyway.

My response date is 5 weeks before my wedding and today is the response date and we have about 30 people that didnt respond. In my opinion, the more time you give yourself the better for you.

just expect some late responses or people who forget...I think its a bit early...but I don't think its a problem...just give them a week before you start calling...

I think its ok because like the other girls said, there are definitely some that will be late. I have mine exactly a month before the wedding date. Its about 10 days to the response date and Im missing about 30 people also.

No matter what - some people are rude and inconsiderate and will not send their RSVP card even if you had a carrier pigeon pick it up from their front door step. Don't worry - use whatever date works best for YOU!
