Is it a problem to include the phrase 'Number of Guests Attending____ ' Does this make them think they can tell you how many?
I've heard tales of ppl writing in a # that was higher than you had in mind, for example, including their kids etc. and then a huge family fight follows.... What to do??

I can't remember the exact wording but Chrissynricky and some other brides put something like '_ seats have been reserved in your honour'. This way the bride fills in the number so there is no confusion. A great solution if anyone is worried about people adding extra guests. I will probably be doing this myself.
