Responses - They are coming in so slow now?????

It's hard to be patient right now. My wedding is 9/2 and my RSVP by date is 7/26. I'm still missing close to 40 replies. First of all, I hate when people tell me verbally that they are coming. I don't know if they are bringing a date. Second - is there something I should do?

People shouldnt be telling you verbally that they are coming. When they do this, tell them just to mail in the response card.

Hey how is it going? Don't feel bad, my response date was July 14th and I still have 50 people who have not responded. I have been getting 1-4 response cards a day, sometimes I didn't get any. Now I am calling everyone to follow up. It is so frustrating. My thing is, If I don't get their response they will not have a seat.

Hey Diva

It's such a pain. From day one I probably got 1-3 a day. Last week there were some days with none too. This is the only thing that has bothered me so far. Went for my first fitting last night! I know you're ahead of my schedule, but I'm getting there! How's everything else with you?

Caf73 We have the same wedding date. My Reply date is Aug 1 I've received 3-4 everyday and none yesterday. We have 11 days to go and over about 75 replies to get back I'm hoping I get a lot over this next week that way I don't have to call these people. Most of my family is responding but Mike's family is slowly coming in. Most of the people on his list he doesn't know so if I have to ask his mother to call that will take a few weeks alone. I'm getting so excited, my fitting is next Wednesday. I can't wait we have only 43 days.

Hey It's great to see other 9/2 brides. Our response date is 8/10. We have about 65 deliquents at this point. My mother says I can't do this, but if someone shows up who has not responded, there will not be a place for them. We have worked way too hard for some irresponsible idiot to mess up our arrangements. I hate to sound like a psycho, but this is stressing us out!!!
