Respost from BHB Nepolitan cake.,...how is it?

Anyone ever had it...my RH offers it and I dont know how good it is....the Manager says is great...but they'll say anything to get you to buy it...

its delicious!! my dad and step mom had it for their wedding. very yummy!!!!!!

its layers of filo dough with bavarian cream in between, frosted on the top with marble frosting. YUM YUM YUMMMM

i dont have pics of my dad's cake on this computer but it is something similar to this:

oh wait... am i thinking of Napoleon Cake???

From what I can see...I think Neapolitan cake is like italian cheese/ricotta cake. Almost like a pie...pir crust with ricotta chese filling..

Imagine an entire cake!!! It was incredible and GORGEOUS TOO!!! my BF baby shower...we ordered that cake b/c it was her favorite cookie!!

Apparently there are TONS of different cakes considered 'neapolitan cakes'

The layered rainbow one, a ricotta cheese cake, an ice-cream one, etc.

I would ask them what's in it.

This is my FAVORITE cake!!! My parents get it for me every year for my birthday and I am the one on the holidays who eats the pasty napoleon before anyone else can grab it lol FH loves it too!
