rest in nyc

Can anyone recommend a good restaurant that is somewhat near the tree in the city or by the theatre district since my FH and I are going to see Jersey Boys and then the tree after in December.

Thanks!!

any food is good just no steakhouses or sushi

For Italian I love Osteria Al Doge

CHEAP THAI - Pam Real (though it is a little further west) I'm running out but will think of more. .

Near the show, I'd recommend Tony's di Napoli - it is a great family style restaurant located on 43rd between 6th and 7th Aves. They have one on the upper east side but there is also one in the theatre district.

Near the tree is Ben Benson's - a great old school steakhouse. It's on 52nd between Ave of the Americas and 7th Aves.
