Has anyone gotten Restalayne?
(Lip injection)

No - I haven't - but I think it's like $500 and insurance does not cover it. To me, that's too much for plumper lips - a bunch of companies make lipstick that might give the same appearance for a LOT less. JMHO.

I got it a few times. Its is considered consmetic & insurance will not cover it.

It costs $500-800 per cc & I got 3 cc's to fill my lips & my laugh lines. And that wasn't to have huge Angelina Jolie lips. Just fuller ones. They swell up kind of bad for a few days & there can be light bruising but you can put cover up on right away. And obviously, it can be painful, depending on who does it. The first guy I went to made me cry & tear. He only gave me ICE to numb my lips. It was traumatic. The 2nd doctor I went to was SO much better. She numbed me all up with Novocaine.

It works MUCH better than lip plumpers though. It def made a noticeable difference. If I had the $, I'd do it again.
It worked well but its gone in 6-12 months. Your body absorbs it. That's the sucky part.
