Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced place to have an engagement party in nassau county? We'd prefer an italian restaurant with a private room and delicious food.

i had mine at domenicos in levittown, i recommend it. Also try piccola bussola in mineola.

mine is going to be the 27th at sergios in massapequa on merrick rd. as a restaurant the food is fantastic so i am sure my party will be too, but if you FM me i will let you know after my party how it was. SO greatly priced too

My FH and I are having ours at Pompei in West Hempstead. I have been to many parties there. The food is great and so are the prices. They have a few different rooms depending on the size of your party.

ITA with this...I had mine at Dortoni's and it was awesome!! The people are so great to work with

How many people?
We are having ours at Matteo's in Bellmore, they have other locations. Also, Cafe Symposio on Sunrise Highway in Bellmore or Merrick is also pretty nice and more reasonable. And Pomodorino and Il Classico in massapequa both do private parties, not sure of the pricing, but they are on Merrick Rd.

I second ALL of these! I actually asked for my shower or rehearsal dinner at Umberto's in NHP! AWESOME place and lots of space.

We had my sisters shower at Angelina's in Lynbrook. The food there is amazing and they have a private room!

I've never had a private party there, but my family ( my mom) has been going there since they opened. She still has the phone number rmemorized and she lives in EAstern Suffolk now.
FH and I are there at least twice a month for dinner, I LOVE LOVE LOVE their food. He's a Brooklyn Italian so he's hard to please and he drags ME there!

Check into Paddys Loft ins Massapequa and Cara *** Due in Seaford they are awesome too.

Novita in Garden City. We had ours there! It was amazing! I have pics in my album. They shut down the place for us. My family and friends still talk about that party!
