Restaurant for wedding?

Restaurant for wedding?

My sister is trying to plan a wedding on a budget for sometime in August. She's getting married on the beach in CA in june, but is planning to have a party in NY sometime in August to celebrate. Does anyone know of a restaurant that has a private room that could hold about 100 people? She would even be okay with buffet style. If you have any prices that would be helpful too. Thanks!

Milleridge Inn has beautiful rooms and I'm pretty sure at least one would hold that many people (as long as she's just looking for a dinner, no dance floor).

Also, Pompei in West Hempstead has a number of rooms. It's where my shower was and we had I think 57 people and it was definitely not their largest room.

Try the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip...great food! (And my sisters work there!)

Since you didn't give any specifics in terms of location, here's another idea for you. Glad's at the Crab Meadow Golf Course in Northport, although 100 people might be much. They'd probably just give you the entire place. Not sure of any pricing either. But it's got a water view and is on a golf course.

I thought Glad's closed?
I could be very wrong.

How about Captain Bills in bay shore? On the water, great food.

Try the Bellport Country Club too - Irish Coffee Pub does the food for them and they are reasonable with their prices.

My mom actually had her wedding at La Pace in Glen Cove-- they probably had a little more than that- but there was a large dance floor.

My sister had her wedding (100 people) at L'Endroit in East Hills, it was beautiful!

You're part right, they were closed and now they are reopened.

What about Three Village Inn in Stonybrook

You should try the snapper inn in oakdale. They are on the water and fairly reasonable.

Check out '21 Main' in Sayville. It is VERY nice! It's $40 a person there for a buffet (I went there last weekend for a quote) and $50 for a sit down meal.... but, that includes nothing else. Not even soft drinks.

Three Village Inn has some pretty decent party packages... just don't say the word wedding, because the prices will skyrocket...
