Anyoe know of any good restaurants that we can have our RD?? Need somehthing close to the Franklin Square, West Hempstead or New Hyde park area. Any suggestions. I want it to be nice but don't want to spend to much. We have about 40 ppl for the RD. TIA.

West Hempstead Pompei, Franklin Square has some good restaruants on Hemp Tpke. Umberto's, Carmelinas

La Parma III in Oceanside
King Umbertos on Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Sq.
Both are very good.
I also looked at Angelina's in Lynbrook

umbertos in new hyde park is fabulous.
carmelas in franklin square on hempstead turnpike is also fabulous.
both very reasonably priced!

i love Jonathans! theres also a few places on Jericho TPk in FP that are nice.... Trinity, Crabtrees, and some on Tulip AVe. in FP. Good luck!

Pompeii in West Hempstead has excellent prices (had my sister's shower there) and Filomena in Franklin Square is pretty reasonable too (the food is excellent!!)- they're on Hempstead Turnpike....I also love Dodici in Rockville Center- but they might be a little pricey (go to www.dodicirestaurant.com- it has lists of their pricing) Good luck!

Filomena's on Hemp Trpk in Franklin Square, looks small on the outside but big inside and food it out of this world!!! ~~~good prices to!
