any good Italian restaurants near the Roosevelt Field Mall/La Quinta, Garden City/Jericho Terrace area? We aren't from the area and my FMIL is trying to find a place to hold our rehearsal dinner....

Umbertos Restaurant is excellent and its on Jericho Turnpike (west of Jericho Terrace). Not too far, maybe one to two miles. Check it out!

Mine was at Piccola Bussola a block away from JT. Everyone loved the food, the staff was awesome... no complaints here.

Piccola Bussola is about 2 blocks away from JT. I believe they have a private room. Haven't eaten there but I know others who have who say it's good.
Also on Mineola Blvd and Jericho Tpke is Carlino's. It looks like just a pizzeria from the outside, but they just expanded their dining area to have a private room. We've eaten there a few times, good food.
In Westbury there's Cafe Baci which is very popular.

This place is excellent, quiet and quaint and the food is awesome! They offer a catering menu too.
Cesare y Julios in Westbury/Garden City it is on Old Country Road...there is West End Cafe but that isn't Italian...

Cafe Baci Cafe Formaggio
They are both on Old Country Road... Cafe Formaggio is right near the Meadowbrook Pkwy. Cafe Baci is across the street from Eisenhower Park.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Piccola Bussola.. Iwas there for a party yesterday but FH and I eat there often the food and service is GREAT!!! and they do have a party room

Vincent's Clam Bar is amazing! it's right across the street from the Roosevelt Field Mall (in the LNT shopping center) YUMM!!!
