There's Pollos El Paisa in Westbury. We've only eaten there once, and the food was delish. On Sat nights the place is packed. It's also very small.

I know of a great spanish place in Oceanside called Meson Iberia. I ahd the paella and it was soooo good! there is a place near it called Rioja and it is also Spanish food and they have excellent tapas.
ETA: Correction- these may be in Island Park, not Oceanside. and they are not latin, they are Spanish. But still really really good!!

That's near me. I've never gone because it's in a shady hotel but if you do go let me know, if it's good we'd try it out
