Restaurant Recommendations for Around Times Square

Anyone have a place that they like/love/recommend for around Times Square?

Relatively inexpensive - John's pizzaria - brick oven pizza in an old church - on 44th and 8th

More expensive - Ruby Foos - Asian food - including sushi and chinese. 48th and Broadway?

I just had dinner at 'Town' located on 56th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue.
Food and service were excellent. The atmosphere is pretty trendy, so be prepared to pay for it...$250 for two people. We shared the skate and the duck dinners...excellent!!!
You'll enjoy the food and the atmosphere too.

Carmine's. It is a couple of blocks from Times Square and it is soooo good. It is Italian family style so you get a ton of food. I think it is on 44th and Broadway.

If I'm remembering correctly - right next door to Carmine's in Ollie's Noodle House. Best chinese food you'll ever have.

It's been a few months since I've been there last, but have always had a great meal at Chez Josephine (French bistro). For Italian, Becco and Osteria al Doge are good.

If you're looking for something more casual, there's Joes Shanghai (mmmm, soup dumplings) or Virgils for BBQ.

And of course, there's Rosie O'Gradys-excellent pub, great food, nice atmosphere

THere is also Tony's on W 43st right next to Heartland...
Jon's is good.. but it is JUST pizza...we just had a party there...

Carmine's is great, but the wait there is horrendous!

We are trying a place on 43rd/9th this weekend that got really good reviews...it's a little French bistro called Le Madeleine. I'll let you know how it is!

Times Square is always the toughest place to find a good restaurant!

There are 2 restuarants between 8&9th on 46th that I would recommend

Les Sans Coulottes West - french prix fix @ 21.95
and wine reanging from $20 - $ 50

Also is Becco - italian - they have a sampler dinner where they serve you 3 - 4 dishes family style
Also they have 20 wines under $20 and they're pretty decent.

Becco is awesome!! Yummy...
Carmine's I hear is good too. Rosie O'Grady's is delish.
Chevy's is different on 42nd on the corner of 8th. Margaritas are really good.
