Restaurant Recommendations in the city

Danielle and I and some friends are going to the city saturday. I was wondering if you girls had some suggestions for restaurants. We are going to the Met and also to the South Street Seaport.

Also I havent been to the city in many years...What are some things to do there during the day? No Clubs or Bars.....though.

Blue Water Grill! It's in Union Square. Great seafood! Pescatore on 2nd & 51st is also really good. Candela is good too, and very romantic.

wow thats a big distance....but in between you could go to my favorite restaurant La Paella its Spanish cusine and its great for gatherings with friends b/c you can order tons of tapas and have everyone share...they also have the best sangria I have ever had...even tops the sangria in Spain

ETA: they have big tables in the 'basement'/lower level that are great for groups...

and its on 9th ave btw 2&3

Most of us will eat anything, but Kathy and Danielle wont eat seafood....
