Fh is taken me to din din on friday night since hes goin away to Vegas on saturday.. Anyone have any good places to recommend? Thx: )

Pearl Oyster Bar in the city is amazing..
or if your in Queens Trattoria L'Incontro in Astoria/or Taverna Kayclades

Kitchen A Bistro in Saint James, Brass Rail in Locust Valley, Sage Bistro in Merrick/Bellmore and Mirabelle Tavern in Stony Brook.

I love Cafe Baci on Old Country Road...The food is so yummy and they give you a nice big dish..

Huntington Village has some really cute ones- just went to Besito's it was really awesome!

Sushi at either Tai Show (levittown) or at Miyako (a hibachi place in hicksville ... their hibachi's also amazing)

ANYWHERE on long island??
I HIGHLY suggest cool water in bay shore. we went there for our anniversary 2 weeks ago, i've NEVER been so satisfied with dinner.. i'm so picky.
the owner asked how everything was.. I looked at him.. MOANED at him and whispered 'amazing'.
FH looked at me like I had 10 heads, he then said 'amazing, you never say amazing to anything'...

besides that... somewhere closer to you....
melting pot?? i honestly wasn't all that impressed... but thats me.
FOUR- i actually kinda loved it there
