Restaurant Rec's near Riverhead? *Updated*

Hey Ladies! FH and I are celebrating our anniversary this wknd our on the North Fork...we're staying in Riverhead though, any Restaurant Rec's near/around that area for a romantic dinner???

I was just gonna say the cooperage inn, but i was beaten to the punch!!!

Blackwells is also very good, but if you've never been the cooperage gets my vote. very cozy, romantic and delicious!!!!

also the out door seating is probably open by now!!!

From Riverhead you can drive to Greenport in like 20 mins. How about something cute in the village there?

OOOOH let me know how Hotel Indigo is. FH and I are going there next Thursday and Friday and staying overnight there!

crashing! i live in baiting hollow which is literally 2 minutes from riverhead and grew up in Southold. Soo I know the north fork incredibly well.

There are no romantic restaurants in Riverhad. I have heard good things about the restaurant in Hotel Indigo though, havn't been yet. For lunch I would recommend
Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck--AWESOME FOOD and SOOO CUTE! Also a good breakfast spot

Baiting Hollow:
Cooperage Inn

Wading River:
La Plage--right on LI Sound
Blackwells

Jamesport:
Jedediah Hawkins Inn Restaurant: Luce and Hawkins--AMAZING!

Mattituck:
A Mano

Cutchogue:
A Touch of Venice

Southold:
North Fork Table---awesome-very pricey

Greenport:
Portobello (right in one of the habors)
Claudios
Frisky Oyster
Pepi's (right on water)
Noah's

Shelter Island:
Sweet Tomatoes
Sunset Beach, but i dont think it is open yet?


And for breakfast:
Cooperage does an awesome buffet

I would say the best place for a nice romantic dinner would be Luce and Hawkins in Jamesport they have AMAZING food and tehy have a garden room that is enclosed and temperature controlled such a nice setting-the dining room inside is also beautiful

I've heard the food at Hotel Indigo is awesome too...we actually looked there when we were looking at wedding venues, so I've seen the whole hotel, even the rooms, everything is awesome!
We just didn't decide on it, it didn't have everything we were looking for, we're most likely going to do our RD there though!

Oh and we're going to Giorgio's sunday for brunch (obviousssssssly)

We ate at Cooperage Inn...GREAT FOOD! We had an awesome weekend, wish the weather was better but we made the best of it.

Mara...FM about Hotel Indigo...stay was good, but not as great as I expected.
