If it's anything like the one in the city then it must be amazing.

Re: Restaurant Suggestions?
The melting pot is in Farmingdale on 110, I have not heard any good reviews from there. I work in the area.
If you want to stay in Woodbury, try Bang in the Woodbury Commons
Piccolo Bussolo in Huntington on Jericho
Our favorite restaurants are in Manhattan. Wolfgang's (not Wolfgang Puck) and Mr. Chow's but they are pricey.
Really romantic and not too expensive in queens is the Parkside
There is always Mim's in Syosset
Another favorite in Huntington is Tutto Pazzo and beautiful is Prime

You've never heard any good reviews from the Melting Pot? Tons of ladies on this website rave about it! I've been to the one in Farmingdale with a group of 10 for FH's sister's bday and we had a great time! I've also been to the one in Philly with one of my girlfriends and we had a great time as well! They have chicken, seafood, cheese dip, beef, lots of good veggies and tons of different spices....from traditional to super duper spicy! This place is great because everything is eaten fondue style! I liked the change from a traditional sit down dinner.

Re: Restaurant Suggestions?
I have just heard it is extremely overpriced for the type and amount of food you get and the food isn't of great quality. I'm not saying it is not fun, I like quality restaurants and was told not to go there. It is fun for the novelty of it. I could see going there with a bunch of girls for a few drinks and dessert but I don't think I would do a nice dinner with my FH. JMO
