Can anyone give me some recommendations for restaurants in NYC, between the 40-50's (going to a theater on Bdway btwn 52 & 53)
I have some choices so if anyone has been to any of these feedback would be very helpful
(steak) Ruth Chris Del Frisco's Malony and Porcelli Angelo & Maxies
(Italian) Papermoon Milano
Thanks Ladies

Re: Restaurant suggestions
I've been to Ruth's Chris... LOVE IT!
There's also another steakhouse on 49th and 3rd, Smith & Wollensky. Really good!!
My in-laws live in that area, so I know tons of restaurants in east midtown. Let me know if you need any other suggestions!
ETA: Sparks Steakhouse is also in the area. It was voted one of the BEST steakhouses in the city (I haven't been yet, it's pretty pricey... but if you're willing to spend money, I hear it's supposed to be well worth it!)

YUM! LOVE Del Frisco's....we go there all the time for business lunches...the creamed spinach is to die for.
Also love Ruth Crists, can't go wrong there....
Have to second Kim on the fact that Angelo Maxies makes a DAMn GOOD burger!
There is an amazing Cuban restaurant (if that's your taste) called Victor's Cafe and it's on 52nd btween 7th & 8th.

Re: Restaurant suggestions
Another Italian to consider is Baldoria, it's run by the son or nephew of Frank Pellegrino who runs Rao's. It can be pricey but I enjoyed it...
All of the steak places are good too
Which play are you going to see?
