FH is hoping to do a mini-bachelor party with some of the guys that can't go away for his bachelor weekend (and including my dad) so he is trying to think of a restaurant, preferably in Nassau, where a bunch of guys could go for a nice dinner. Any suggestions? TIA!

FH wanted a low key bach party so they went to Peter Luger's ing Great Neck. It didn't come out as expensive as I thought it would either. They got a porterhouse for 10!!!

I'm taking Mike to Blackstone for his 30th birthday in two weeks
Hmmm more Nassau:
Villa D'Este - Floral Park Stella's - Floral Park La Marmite - East Williston Broadway Beanery - Lynbrook La Tavola - Lynbrook
ETA: of course there's always Peter Luger's in Great Neck or Ruth's Chris in Garden City.
Oh and also Grand Luxe.

You just reminded me of City Cellar too . . . he loves it there. Lot's of good suggestions - PS - is Broadway Beanery still around? FILs wanted to look there for our RD and I was like, um, that place is history, haha. Guess I'm wrong!!??

After they burned down (ummmm like years ago), they re-opened down the block on Atlantic Avenue. They're FREAKING AMAZING now!!!!! They're a full service restaurant - no longer just a coffee shop, and the food is amazing. Mike and I have spent a few New Year's Eve's there and have gone there for dinner a few times with his family. I love it there. And the coffee and desserts are still to die for

Jonathan's in Garden City Park. Shiro's Japanese Westbury Peter Luger's Great Neck Major's Steakhouse (syosset and East Meadow) Runyons (East Meadow and Seaford) Umberto's New Hyde Park Frank's Steakhouse Rockville Centre
A bit more casual dining: Popeii's Clam Bar in Wantagh. (It is a mom and pop restaurant, but the portions are huge and the seafood is fresh!!) Borelli's East Meadow

I also second Majors Steakhouse. That place has 'the guys' written all over it too. The food is soooooo delicious. I recommend the Colorado steak and garlic mashed potatoes. Ugh so good.

What about Hibachi? Like Shiro's? Or Major's? Steak houses are def. a good option for guys.
My other suggestion would be a buffet...I mean, guys do love to eat!
