Restaurant suggestions in the city **UPDATE I PICKED A PLACE**

Original post by Espo22

Ok Fh wanted to go to Tao tomorrow night but they have no reservations available, only 5pm and 11:30pm. Now trying to think of something else, but i have so many places running through my head and also maybe someone will suggest something i haven't thought about.

TIA

****update**** thank you girls for your suggestions but i made reservations at Buddha bar. Ill keep many of these suggestions though in mind for next time

Someone else already mentioned China Grill and I have to second that - it's GREAT

One if by land, two if by sea is very romantic

We also like Butter...

Hmmm...what else - if you feel like spending a lot go to Gramercy Tavern - goddam that place is good!!!

If you want Cuban food, Victor's Cafe is awesome

Also, La Esquina is really good and they have a very cool underground restaurant with like 150+ different types of Tequila.

Both have awesome food

Stanton Social!

I'm seconding this vote and adding Butter on Lafayette to the list. I can't get over how good they both are!!

I'm the MOH for my girlfriend's wedding and I'm having her bachelorette dinner there and then we're going to the bar 'The back room' which is a secret bar. You have to walk down an alleyway till you find the 'toys' door. It's like an old speakeasy. They serve all the cocktails in teacups.

yeah a few weeks ago we went shopping around there saturday afternoon and i mentioned going to stanton social since i knew we were nearby...we ended up taking longer than expected and had to get home already and get ready bc it was the night of a halloween party we attended. So ill definitely go there soon.

If you're shopping in that area, check out Foley and Corinna. Love that store. Also, ESSEX has a great brunch. $16 brunch and you get three cocktails!!!
