Restaurant.com

When they were having that big sale last week, I bought 2 $25 gift certificates for Ciao Baby and when DH and I went there tonight, there was a sign that they don't accept coupons from Restaurant.com anymore... So whatever, we ate there anyway because we had already drove almost a half hour to get there but I came home and Ciao Baby is still on the website so people are still buying gift certificates for this place and they'll go there and they won't be happy when they see that the place isn't accepting the coupons any longer...

So just a word of advice if you order gift certificates from the website: check with the restaurant beforehand!

Wow! That is total garbage! How can they do that? Did you ask them?

other than the issue you had with the restaurant the gift cards really work??
.....does it say its from restaurant.com or does it come straight from the restaurant itself?

This was my first time ever using a gift certificate from them. They had a sign right up at the front saying that they no longer accepted coupons from Restaurant.com and I said I had one that I just bought last week and they said that they haven't been taking them for a while and couldn't use mine even though I just got it last week.

I did e-mail them and complained that I wanted my money back because obviously the certificates are worthless now. The thing that ticks me off the most honestly is the fact that Ciao Baby is still on Restaurant.com so I'm sure people are still buying certificates.
