Can anyone recdomend a restaurant that has a private party room, w/ outdoor space, & or waterfront property? We'd prefer Nasssau, but will go as far east as Huntington..

thanks so much!

Bedels at West Wind Yach Club in Freeport. They have a few different rooms depending on the size of the party. They have good food and good prices. They back up to the canal in Freeport. Big outside area.

Carltun's on the Sound is right next to Steve's Pier. They have two party rooms. My wedding place is The Crescent... it's so perfect! Try there. If oyu haven't been to it, you'll love it. They have a separate restaurant (Pine Island Grill), and an outside eating area, too (called the Sunset Grill - in nicer weather)... so depending on when you need it for, it might fit your needs. (I LOVE the Crescent!)

Also... pretty much ANY place in Freeport. Just drive the Nautical Mile and see what you like! I've been to a few Bridal and Baby showers at different places there.

I didn't know it was for an e-party, but we had a celebration of a wedding at the Cartun (not a FULL wedding... they were already married), and it was beautiful. Call them and check.

Re: restaurants?

not for nothing, but I live on LI, and had my e-party at Frankie and Johnnies - The Pine in the Bronx. You will NOT be disappointed if you go there. This was the place where my FH asked for my dad's blessing, and while he did that, we booked the e-party! I used to go there all the time after Yankee games, and we all LOVE this place. My fh's mom even made us go back AFTER our e-party for her b-day because she loved it so much! The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! My guests are STILL talking about it! And they said I'll have a hard cake to top with my wedding cake after having their Napolean cake. OMG... I want to go back NOW. Anyway... we found it to be perfect because all our guests from LI, Westchester, PA, CT, NJ, Staten Island made it there in NO time (they were very impressed with how fast it was). It was the best... check that place out, if you're not against having it in the Bronx. Totally good area... valet parking. Right over the Whitestone, so not far from LI at all. I know you want one the water, but this place is GREAT! Even if you don't have your e-party there, go for dinner! LOL. AND BRING ME! Soooooo GOOD. My stomach is rumbling now........

Re: restaurants?

How about restaurants in Ocean side or long beach? There are a ton on Long Beach road right before you reach the beach. I personally Love the Scooners restaurant in Freeport on the water.
