I am trying to find a nice romantic restaurant in Nassau County for Valentine's Day- we usually go to the same couple of places when we eat out - so I am looking for new suggestions, preferably not outrageously priced. Thanks!

Re: Restaurants
My FI has already made reservations for Valentines Day at 49 Wyckoff Street (sp?) in Freeport. It is a romantic seafood restaurant on the Nautica Mile.

Re: Restaurants
We went to V-dy dinner at BK Sweeneys in Garden City 2 years ago and loved it:
And honestly, we love to dine at the restaurant portion of the Westbury Manor. If you aks for the table by the piano it's such a nice dining experience. Enjoy!!!!1

Re: Restaurants
Friend Of A Farmer in Roslyn is really romantic. Very quaint, great food and romantic outdoor areas with a duck pond to walk around. It might be cold, but it will be pretty!

Re: Restaurants
Call me crazy, but I don't think Friend of a Farmer is in their location anymore by the Duck Pond in Roslyn. I walked down that street last weekend and it was all closed up.... Maybe they moved? I'm sure someone can find this info out.
As for restaurant locations, my finace and I love Rothmans in East Norwich (Rt. 25A and Rt. 106) and Buteras off Jericho Tpke in Woodbury (1/4 mile east of Rt. 135).

Nooo!!!! It closed?! ACK! I hope not I love that place!
If you like Grappa's ... you'll love this place! Quieter & more service oriented. It's our fav. place ... Angelo, the owner, personally takes your order! Of all the times that we've been there, we've never even seen a menu!
La Cisterna in Mineola on Mineola blvd. steps from the train station. If you didn't know it was there, you'd go right passed it. fm for the # if you want it!

Thrilled- In Queens by the Shea Stadium, FI and I love Green Field. It's not quiet at all. It's a Brazilian restaurant themed after a 'churassqueria' which is a traditional Brazilian BBQ. It's great!!!!!

Re: Restaurants
We're probably doing Spasso's. We went there last year and i suggested maybe making it a yearly ritual to go there. Great food and not ridiculous prices.
