what kind of food?
i imagine pub food, american and italian are the 'safest' as far as the majority of the people liking the food. about 1/3 of our guests are from a small town in wisconsin so i don't want to scare them.

I would say... Off the Wall has good food and a seperate room, Meehans has a seperate room, Umbertos (like 5 minutes outside the village) or Blue Honu. Blue honu is great but a little pricey

Re: restaurants in huntington village?
These are the ones I found in my search that can accomodate parties:
Meehans Mangiamo (family style Italian) Blue Honu Mac's Steakhouse
Meehans is the least expensive out of the list and good, my friend had her bridal shower there.
There's also Tutto Pazzo a little bit more north on 110.
I'm not sure about Canterbury Ales. I heard somewhere they were going to open up their upstairs area as a party room but, I'm not sure if it happened.
