FH and I are going to visit my aunt at the North Shore hospital in Manhasset.....
after, we are going to go out for a much needed 'nice dinner'.....(no mcd's or fast food type)....
do any of you know a good restaurant near the hospital?? I am clueless down in that area!

There are a ton of restaurants (mostly steakhouses) on Northern Blvd. going west. My favorite is Burton and Doyle. There are also a ton of restaurants in Great Neck on Middle Neck Road. Take Northern Blvd heading west until you get to Lakeville and make a right and that becomes Middle Neck Road and there are restaurants on every block. Enjoy!

I agree!! Americana has Toku or Cippollini.. I love them both

Bryant and Cooper is hands down the best steakhouse in NY. Even better than Peter Luger. It's on Northern Blvd, a few blocks east of the Americana on the north side.

there's Louies in Pt Washington which is really close. Great food and a beautiful view
