Restrictions after losing plug??

Restrictions after losing plug??

Hey ladies,

I'm 99% positive I am losing/lost my mucus plug.. (and shh.. my contractions are getting closer.. but I'm trying not to get too excitied and just sitting around drinking tons of water)

My question is after you loose your plug can you still take a bath? Can you still have sex?

I figure question #2 might move things along, plus with Dh deploying soon we need to take every opportunity we have so to speak.

I'm already 2cm as of wednesday and very thin and effaced so I'm hoping my water just breaks so I know things are really happening. I've been contracting for days so I'm timid to put too much hope into these contractions.

As long as your water didnt break, you can still take baths and get some nookies

Lots of labor dust!! Hopefully Jack will come soon, so your DH and spend as much time with you guys before he's deployed.

I don't know the answers to your questions but -- I just wanted to wish you luck and send you labor dust (those contractions sound promising!) so baby gets here soon so you and DH can enjoy him before he goes away!!

Well I am stil losing it... and still have pretty close contractions off and on for about 5 hours and then they stop and come back..
So by now I'm almost positive I am more dialted. We're thinking it's going to be a short labor when I finally reach active labor.

Luckily he is no longer deploying right after the baby, he still won't be around for that much extra time.. but we just booked a Christening for July 3rd... so he *should* be around for that!

Re: Restrictions after losing plug??

Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself..

but at 7:30 I was 10 minutes apart
by 10:00 I was 8 minutes
Since 11:40 I've been 5 minutes apart.

I'm just trying to take it easy and I sent Dh to bed. I called L&D around midnight and they told me to just hang out at home unless I felt uncomfortable doing so but that they recommend me waiting it out as long as possible in the comfort of my house.

They are getting more intense but I haven't had to breathe through them really yet, and I'm terrified of going to L&D (especially on mother's day) and being sent home pregnant still.

I wish my water would just break or something so I would know.. and to make it even worse when I called, my favorite midwife and nurse are working right now so that makes me want to go in even more because I feel I'll have the A team working on me..

Argh....

Well anyways if you don't see any posts from me in the next few days, hopefully it will be because I'm busy with my little man...
