rethinking dress hem and bustle - need help!

i know i posted a question about this a week or so ago..but im having second thouhghts

when bustled, the hem should be even all around right?

right now, the seamstress has it where the front part is like an inch off the ground!! (i think she cut too much ...i should probably buy shorter heel shoes, right? cuz right now it is not floor-length)

and the bustle is like an extra inch on teh ground

help! i am going for my 'final' fitting tomorrow. im really having second thoughts about the way it looks. what should i do???????

Can she fix the front to be even with the back?? If not you may have to get smaller heels. I dont think it should be higher in the front where it doesnt cover your feet.

ITA!!!! Don't spend more money on new shoes when they messed it up. Either they fix or they pay for your new shoes...Good luck

its probably an inch. cuz in the mirror you can see my shoes (the platform part, not the top of the shoe)!

but then the back is long. even with the bustle, its still on the ground an extra inch or so. she said 'thats how its done'...but idk....i think it looks weird.

should i buy new shoes? sooo confused!

hmmmm... I think the front is ok. but sounds a bit weird of that long in the back - like it drags right?
as others said if ur not happy with it, it doesnt matter 'what its done like' tell them to fix it

and if ur that unhappy with the front, can they make it longer once again? or have they cut and that is pretty much it

Janis its ur dress, there is no such thing as its the way its done - its the way YOU want it

the front is cut - syyy--aaahh-naaahh-rraaahhh and ciao.

im gonna look in my closet for shorter heels to see if that helps.

i know they arent going to like me tomorrow if i tell them to switch it. but honestly, how long does a bustle take to do? screw them

I was also very scared to say anything to my florist, but I just did it. we all have to remember these ppl work for us and there is no need to feel uncomfortable.
just say, u arent happy with the way it looks. I mean what can they do at the worst, make a face? so what!

the seamstress is right...

I had my 1st dress like that.

for 2nd dress, I should of made it a drop higher...I stepped on it so many times I put a hole in the lining and tulle.

I didn't care as it was a cheap dress but if it had been first..I plan on selling that one.
