Hi Ladies!!

Quick question when you sent out your engagement paprty invitations/save the dates/ wedding invitations where did you put your return address?

Today I went to the post office to drop off 40 envelopes with my return adress label stuck on the back flap of the envelope and they told me there was a chance they could get mailed to my house. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. The postman said it's because they have a machine that literally scans the adress listed on the envelope and there is a possibility the envelope could land on its backside. I don't know what to do. I thought you are suppse to put return labels in the back for formal invitations because it looks nicer.

I just mailed my invites yesterday -and the return address is on the back flap. I've never heard what they told you and have never had a problem in the past, either. I'm not really worried about it. If I were you, I'd put the return address there too.

this actually happened to one of my shower thank you's! however I have really never heard of this happening.

i did labels for my STDs that way and the calligrapher did the return address there as well. I haven't had any problems and i didn't even know to worry about it either.

My return address was on the back of my invitations, and none have been delivered to me.

I did this to my wedding invitations haven't received any back that was a month ago.

That's how I did it and nothing got sent to me...

I put the return address on the back flap of all my invites. i never heard of this happening and if it does im sure its very rare. i would definitly still put the return address on the back flap

I also put my return address labels on the back flap for my engagement party invite. None of the invites have been returned to me.
