Returned RSVP's

I was wondering, as my RSVP date approaches...when did you notice the biggest return?? At the end??? I hope so.

Did anyone have to call people that didn't respond?

Nancy!! How are ya girl??? your day is coming soon!! As far as the RSVP's are concerned...there were some days we got a bunch and others we didnt get one! Harry and I and our familes had to make a few phone calls for the RSVP's that we did not receive. Some people just assume you know that they are coming.

We had gotten a steady stream back within days after the invites went out .. but then it tailed off until the final couple of weeks. There were a few people we had to check with .. but it really wasn't a big deal.

I know it's frustrating, and seems inconsiderate of those people who don't return the responses, but with how hectic people's lives are, and I'm sure most people have genuine intentions of trying to make the weddings but don't always know their schedule until last minute, it's easy to understand how it can happen.

I was soooo frustrated with my RSVPs ... we had to make some phone-calls. At first we got a steady stream within days the invites were sent out and then it trickled to a couple to a few a day. Towards the end, we started getting some more. But we were missing a good 15-20 the day after our due date. So, we had to make some phone-calls. But Lisa is right, people assume that you know they are coming. And some people don't know if they can make it and hold onto the RSVP until the end!
Don't worry, it happens to all of us!

I guess we are just SO nervous considering we mostly aren't even half way to our minimum...we only have until June 1st as our RSVP date....

I am sure it comes together, but until then I won't have much for fingernails.
