Rev Deb viola*Upset need helP**

What do people think of her?....Who is using her?

SO I MADE APPT TO SEE HER THIS WED...THEN AFTER THE FACT SHE ASKS ME WHEN THE CEREMONY IS AND TOLD HER SHE NOW TELLS ME SHE IS ALREADY BOOKED.

SHE TELLS ME WE CAN STILL PUT TOGETHER A CEREMONY AND I CAN ONE OF MY OTHER OFFICANTS READ IT....WHAT SHOULD I DO?????? HAS ANYONE DID OR HEARD OF THIS??

We are using her... she was great to meet with, and we are sooo excited to have her officiate for us!!
She is really down to earth, and we felt totally comfortable with her.... she also lets you customize your ceremony.

We are using her. I cant remember where she is located thou, sorry. I havent met her yet in person but she was great to talk to on the phone. She has great reviews and i really enjoyed talking with her.

OMG I can't believe that! I am meeting with her tomorrow afternoon. I actually have to look up the address today and confirm with her. Do you want me to ask her anything for you or get any info? If so let me know. I hope everything works out for you

I just dno what to do...I am such a idiot I should have booked long ago...She said she can still meet up with and she can make up the whole thing and give it to another officant to read it

I guess you would have to meet the other officiant first and see if that option would work for you. I would def want to meet with the person first. Maybe they can meet you weds also. Keep me updated and don't worry I'm sure it will be fine.

i would definitely meet with the other officiant but I trust that she wouldnt recommend somebody she didnt respect and have confidence in. Im so sorry she was booked she is awesome...definitey meet with her and write a ceremony though!

Yea I wonder if I would even meet him...So you dont think it is weird that she writes it up and has someone else read???

Do you really want her ? If you do, then let her write it up and let the other officiant read it. If not try to find someone else. Maybe Rev April

I know Rev. Deb is very close with pastor apirl but at this point (i hate to say it..) pastor april is probably booked too..they work closely together. Im sure you would be able to meet with her recommendation

yea I already know pastor April is booked. I think I am going to just go visit rev deb and see if I like this idea becuase Really I am cutting it close and need a officant

I think it will be fine if she writes the ceremony for you and then has someone else read it. Would you have to pay both of them then?

I don't know if I'd want someone else to read it. I would def talk to the other officiant and ask them a few questions first, namely how many ceremonies have you done lol. The writing of it is important but it's also the delivery and you wanted her and her personality, not someone else. JMO...

If you want another officiant rec, we used Rev Janine Burns. She was great to work with and also personalized our ceremony (wrote it and customized it just for us). FM me if you want her contact info (she's not a vendor here).

ITA. I would only want to deal with one officiant, the one who was indeed conducting my ceremony. Breathe! YOu will be able to find someone. Meet with the person she recommends and see if you like him/her, and have them work with you on your ceremony.
