I'm having an officiant problem. I had my heart set on a female officiant, and Rev. Deb and Rev. April are both booked. I came across Rev. Laura, and I spoke with her briefly today, and she seemed really nice. Has anyone worked with her? TIA!!

Re: Rev. Laura Tria? Anyone know any info?
My sister in law used her for their beach wedding in '05, she was great! Then they used her for their baby's blessing (like a christening) last year. Another couple I know also used her for their wedding last year.
She is a sweetheart, really personalizes the ceremony to each couple and what suits them. Highly recommend. Only reason I didn't use her is that my DH has a priest that is his family's friend.

I'm using Rev Laura. After talking with her on the phone she made an appointment to come out and meet FH and myself right away. We live in Queens, she is in Bayshore she had no problem came out met with us talked got personal with us, it was great. I too wanted a female and my stepfather was at a wedding where she was the officiant way before I got engaged. When he finally popped the question my stepfather knew immediatly who should marry us, he called the couple that got married for her info.
