Review of E-party and PICS included! Warning a lot of photos
This is for everyone - especially Marcela1654 and Robeymuse - who have been asking for photos.
Ok we had a cocktail hour and a sit down luncheon at a restaurant called Stresa on Northern Blvd in Manhasset). I can see why zagat give it such high marks. I highly recommend it! Anyway - we had a one hour cocktail party, and then a sit down meal (pasta app.- it was penne with pesto and a spinich and tomato pasta, then a tri color salad, and entree - salmon with mustard sauce, veal with mushrooms, or a chicken with mushrooms and artichokes, finished with a slice a cheesecake and a slice of flourless chocolate cake) Everyone raved about the food! The restaurant was great. The service was awesome. The made the drinks so strong that you really didn't need more than one! The restaurant was all ours until abut 430 when most of us headed over to fridays for a short while (said hi to Latina511).
The party was amazing only a few minor problems - since the weather was bad my MOH (who took a car service from the city) and one of my BM's and her husband got stuck in bad traffic and didn't get there until almost 1 1/2 into the party! - One of FH GM's who told us the night before he was not coming then he was coming again - didn't show up until 230 (party ended btw 4 and 430) and FH's grandfather had 3 glasses of wine and it didn't mix with his medication (FMIL was not supposed to allow her 89 year old father to drink) he was like falling over so my parents were upset)
I give both my parents (who threw us the party) and Stresa an A+++++ for an amazing day!
We are still reeling over how generous all our friends were and we were so excited that they were able to come and spend the day with us.

OH make sure you all agree with your place in advance what happens when people spill things. One of my BM's spilled her drink and broke a glass (No alcoholo involved...lol) one of the GM's spilled his drink into one of my BM's purses. And another GM's broke his champagne flute stem. And of course FH spilled his water all over our table...lol. Hmmm and most of these people had NOT been drinking - hmmm maybe I shouldnt have these people around me in my wedding dress.
