Review of my Bachelorette Party!!

5 of us headed into the city in the rain for my last night as a single girl last night...Here is a little review

Dinner....Mangia e Bevi NYC

This place came highly recommended by several LIW girls....I didn't know what to expect it looked like a quiet Italian restaurant on the website...but I had heard it was fun.

Well we got there and it was bachelorette central. We were running late due to the weather BUT called ahead to let them know this. When we got there...there was a line a bachelorette parties. My MOH went in to tell them that we were there and the girl said fine...you are next! So we waited and watched many other parties go in...and she finally asked so guy who appeared to have some list and he gives us such an attitude that we aren't anywhere close to next since we didn't see him first...and that we should have known....So I am pissed and I start saying well how are we supposed to know this....to which he says...you can no longer stand under the awning in the doorway
So we waited on the street. He tells us it will be 10 more minutes and I am so ready to go elsewhere. So we FINALLY ARE CALLED...and he says ok party of 6 and we say no its actually 5 and he says.....Oh then you lied to me....I am so done at this point....that I go off on him almost costing us the reservation....His attitude was totally uncalled for and nasty!

So ultimately we had a good time...the food was good. I thought it was sort of a fire trap. It was an expererience...BUT I would never go back! Its too unorganized.

Bars...Turtle Bay and Sutton Place It was too early for Culture Club so we went to some of my old haunts from when I worked in the city. It was still early and the places weren't crowded but it was still fun and nostalgic

Culture Club Awesome...such a blast. We danced all night. I got in for free and got a t-shirt that says 'I spent my last night at the Culture Club'....Boy George handed it to me at the end of the night. We had so much fun and stayed until like 1:30 or 2.

My BMs and my other friend were so generous and showed me an awesome time last night. I am sad that its over. I really enjoyed walking around in my tiara and sash having everyone say congratulations and asking when I was getting married

I will post pics later

Kathleen, sorry for the trouble at the restaurant, but the rest sounds like you had a great time! Wasn't walking around in a sash/tiara the best?!
