review of nyctophobia- spoiler!
I got so many emails about this...sorry to those who I didn't respond to, I have been away with my FH for our anniversary...
Ill spill the beans here, instead of responding to all those FMs
sooooo
we show up to the address they give us
its an empty parking lot with 2 girls sitting at a table
they read you a disclaimer
you will get touched, you will have to interact, you will be asked to crawl, sit lie down etc
if you need to leave use the ''safe word' which was 'uncle' and you will be immediately removed
soooo thennnnnnnnnn
they hand us blindfolds and put us into one of those white work vans...no seats in the back, just sitting on the floor of a van
they take us to this huge barn, you can't see where you are because the van literalllly backs up to the door of the barn
once inside, they hand you these earmuffs that block out noise and bring you into the attraction ONE at a time
they sit me in front of one of those red lights and interrogate you
Name?
Blood Type?
Age?
Allergies?
Biggest Fear?
they tell me to close my eyes...spray with me what was probably water and tell me they gave me a hallucinogen
then a guy hands me a glow stick and says- once inside you have no power, this is all you have...proceed to the left
i was scared sh*tless!!!
so you head into a dark maze type thing, can't see anythingggggggggggggg
there are random guys trying to scare you wearing all black and white freaky looking masks
then you get to this clown who is laughing and acting crazy, tells you to put your back to the wall and demands the glow stick( I refuse to give it up lol- as do most others from what i heard)
then i hear my name being called 'JENNNNIIIIII....jENNNIIIIII...give him the light...give it to him nowwwwwwwwwwww! etc etc'
this went on for a few minutes and i finally gave it up
then i have to CRAWL down this slope with all white pillows and stuff, i get cornered by 2 actors no idea where to go
and then have to crawl through PITCH black maze
then stand and try to get through...at that point i said 'uncle'
they said are you sure?? i said no no no ill stay
but they ended up pulling me out anyway
FH did the whole thing and said it was reallllly good
at what point they laid him down flat on some rolling table
next year you will have to pay for it...and they are planning on making it bigger and obvi much better
im so mad at myself that i didn't finish oh well!
