I am actually taking a seminar for my job on Monday on how to deal with vendors. Hopefully, that will help in planning my wedding!
So happy to hear that your day turned out so great-- can you give me more info on your makeup person(cost, etc) she sounds great all that detailed attention--that must have felt great--
also do you mind telling me/us what the cost of the B&B is -- I will be staying at a hotel the night before and love the idea of having the whole place to ourselves(My FI is from NJ, and technically I am now too) so there will be alot of people in need of a place to sleep--so the B&B sounds great

It was very unsettling. Our wedding was Saturday March 25th and she died on Saturday, June 24th. We had a small affair of 80 folks & she was also at our rehersal dinner, so we spent some time together during our last visit.
She and my uncle had just retired, sold their home in Ft Lauderdale and were driving to CA to be near their sons....when their Firestone tire blew on their Ford Explorer. (This happened 2 weeks before the news of the defective tires hit the airwaves). She died on site, my uncle escaped with a punctured lung and a slight concussion. They decided to bury her in FL...but it was postponed 9 days until my uncle was released and arrived via train (can't fly w/a punctured lung)
glad that everything turned out so well. i wa interested in knowing if the musicians you hired only have violin and cello or if there are other available. If i may ask what music you had, lie when u walked down the aisle??
I think $150 per bar is a lot-- we are not using these as our favors-- just something 'extra' that I wanted to do -- there are plenty of companies that are cheaper than that
I ordered my dress from RK Bridals and so far have been very pleased. I went to the showroom though.
Dawn did post a brief comment the other day-she said there was a communication problem with Leighann. I think that if she wants to get further business from this board she should probably offer more of an explanation. I know if it was my business, I would surely try to give my side. Word of mouth is pretty powerful in the wide world of wedding planning.
Anyway...her reception room had tulle with lights, strung up on different sides to the middle, very romantic. The food was great. Cocktail hour was skimpy, but it was still good, I did eat!:o)
